2. Designing your destiny: Karma, reincarnation and death

Now, would you like to know your future? I mean seriously, would you like to know? I can tell you right now. But you know what? You can tell too. All you need to do is look at your past. We create our own actions by our destiny. Well, you do. Not me. I’m Krishna and I’m beyond all this stuff. You’ll get to know me better quite soon. But this video’s all about you – check it out!

You see life is all about balance.

A number of years ago, Bryan Dyson, then the President and CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprises, delivered a commencement speech at Georgia Tech. In it, he discussed the difference between glass and rubber balls. His insight is as valuable today as it was then.

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them – work, family, health, friends and spirit – and you’re keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls – family, health, friends and spirit – are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.

Now this was just the warm up. There’s more coming up in further sessions. So if you’re ready for it, click next. You’ve only got about an hour left. That’s a third of the Lord of the Rings movie. And you’ll learn a lot!
